Is your phone new? Give it 2-3 weeks for the battery to settle too.
Drain it completely, then charge fully. Do this process a few times.

I can get a full day of use now and my battery only drops 5% overnight.

No im not using the latest update and yes the phone is new I get it a week ago. I always drain the battery completely until the phone switches off by itself. I saw that other users have about 50% usage of screen i just checked and I got 79%. I shall wait few more weeks and see how it goes hope ICS update will help a lot :P

Thumbs up
As I had promised earlier (in the ver73 firmware thread), here is my observation based on a moderate usage using the new firmware. The battery looks freaking awesome now. Its been more than 26hours now and I still have 50% juice remaining.
I have used my phone with WIFI switched on for more than 12 hours. Rest of the time I had 3G On. The Gmail,Facebook and Google contacts sync is turned on. The GPS is turned ON as well.
Screen brightness is set to 30% (which is more than enough for me, When I need more I just turn the backlight ON temporarily.). I didnot play games. However, I did some light internet surfing and had voice calls for around 40-45mins. I also sent a few sms.

The stats look freakingly awesome. The guys have certainly done a great job in ver 73. And with out feedback on what else needs to be improved, this can only get better when ICS comes in.
(Note: I am on Non Rooted Stock version of ver 73 with no customizations.)

You lot can't be using your phones and must just becseeing how much juice you can get out of them, or the .73 firmware solves a major issue. Playing Shadowgun the other day my phone went from 65% to zero in an hour! While charging!
Taking the phone back today as i'm still within my 14 day cooling off period, i've also had problems with the screen locking up too, had to do a few resets with power+volume.

I have unlugged the phone on Friday, 1700. 15mins on Skype, few minutes of voice calls, about 10 text messages, Tapatalk checking messages every 15mins, email sync is on all the time, about 5 mins of Temple Run, 1,5 hour trip in a car. Half of that time I was on Wifi, the other half - 3G or H. I know it is a light use, but at the moment, it is 1 day, 16 hours, 22 minutes after unplugged, and battery shows 49%. Not bad. .73

The display is definitely the battery drainer. It's a gorgeous screen after all.

In fact try turn off the backlight and reduce screen brightness to below 50%.
IMO that level of brightness is enough for normal daylight use.

Also, use the Power Safer that comes with the phone, turn on the timed saver option and set it to turn everything off when you're asleep. I get only 3% drop overnight with that enabled.
