On the 29th March defy+ build right now.. When I use the iOnRoad augmented reality app, it gives a green screen after a while and battery has to be pulled out

Question if I may..

Could this commit (Fix rare crash on phone app startup.) be related in any way to the DSP Manager FCs on incoming call pick up?

Because I've experienced a few (3-4) of those recently as well [M-0328].
Did not ge too many calls lately and still no logcat about this though...


But we'll see with next build anyway and thx..

Oh I've had those too. But not too often on cm7, maybe 4 times in all. MIUI (many versions and editions) gave me hell though, almost every other call would cause a crash about 3 days into the rom. Not anymore though after I turned off call recording.

Nope, that fix is for a phone app (com.android.phone) crash that occurred to me yesterday. It won't help for DSP manager. I will look into that as well though, I just got a DSP manager crash.

Does that mean that there will be "better" ICS only for red lenses? What about work on kexec module? Quarx should appear on this thread and explain

When the camera torch is on, the brightness of the led during focusing is lesser than when the picture is being captured. Is it possible to make the capture brightness lower when in macro mode, maybe equal to the value it is at for focusing?

BL7... not good for normal Defy users but. It would be nice if Quarx explained to us what and how

Nope. The torch brightness is controlled by the camera blob, and there's no chance of overriding it.
