Correction:

The ONLY problem I have with this ROM is that I cannot get SMS Messages via the MESSAGING app most of the time.

I have tried A LOT of them, and this is STILL MY GOTO build.

Need some help, not new to rooting a phone, but I followed the steps, got rooted and drop recovery in the bin, now when I boot to recovery and try to do the install packages (the second option) it gives me an era, saying the verification is wrong....so I resign the update zip and try again to see if that was the problem, but it keeps saying it....any idea what I may have done wrong, any help would be appreciated, thanks...

Do you have an antivirus software running on your computer? Cause I remember this happened to me and that it turned out my antivirus was deleting something from the update.

Sorry in advance I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this but is it safe to flash CWM from Rom Manager? I just got this Sidekick and I wanna start flashing roms

No, you can't flash cwm through rom manager on this phone. Even though rom manager has a version for the sidekick, it doesnt work right. backup/restore wont work and if you try to flash a rom you will probably brick your phone. others have heard the warning and have not heeded it, so whatever you do is on you. good luck.

ok, if u did flash the cwm from rom manager, what needs to be done to undo this if it can be undone, but i have replaced the recovery threw root explorer...
