I downloaded angry birds space but it loads up but gets stuck at the menu is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah. I don't think it can run on our phone very well. The only Angry Bird game that could play was that modified one that was posted a long time ago.

Does anyone know where to find the really old one that doesn't lag on the Hero?

I have it, but dont know where i found that one lol. All i can say is that it still lags a bit.

I remember getting one from GetJar or something a long time ago. I have an Angry Birds apk on my 4shared that I don't remember putting there, I guess it might be that one. I'll try it later.

my phone can't play it too

Here is the old version that doesn't lag really badly on the Hero. It's 1.3.5. I think it works better in airplane mode because of the ads. This is the one without the background and the ground colored.

I got to the point where I couldn't reliably run anything. The Hero is a really great phone, but that ship has sailed.
