Default soo close...

When I try to lash a rom, it says:

E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

What should I do?

What was your main problem?

For that error run parted and give it f (fix) to the prompts.

that is when you try to flash a rom as a flashable .zip or backup folder, or both?

did you run the commands again with bs=4096 at the end of each command? did you verify the md5 of the images?

Ok, so I was able to install a rom (yours posted here to be exact: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1512373) I will explain the booting screens I see. First, I see a silver n. Then I see the n/red forever screen, but it never turns into nook/hack by barnes and noble like it used to. the screen with the video of a woman shows up, a statusbar of virtual buttons pops up from the bottom for a fraction of a second, and then they go away. After 3 more seconds, the device reboots itself over and over until it aoutomattically boots into CWM.

I havent posted ROM in the link you just posted. those are just mods not complete ROM so you still must have the rom contained in the images you downloaded which is my modified stock 1.4.0 with ribbons so is not that you flashed CM7 but mods of CM7 on top of stock lol.

how did you get it to flash the .zip?, is useful for future reference. Please post it up.

Download cm7 or any other rom format system in CWM (PLEASE ONLY SYSTEM) and try to flash the ROM , make all wipes once done (data, cache, dalvik cache)

I mean the one with the error code

But I think I know what's worng, can you maybe pull the /proc/mounts from your tablet and I'll try to push it on my tablet. I think somehow that table is destroyed and that's why CWM can't load the cache and system files and also can't format it...
