Ok so for all of you who are feeling the same love/hate relationship with Samsung I am I can announce that it is time to start lovin again cause, I was talking to a samsung rep about why the I9000 gets the value pack and all other Galaxy S (origionals ) don't she disclosed the following to me!!

not really crazy they would have to as per there agreement the sgs4g aka t959v fell into the 18 month agreement to push updates to the latest handsets.

hopefully it's not sprinkles like i9000 but dude nice find! thanks for the info that's awesome! i feel when release date hits then Raver might come back

Right, but don't you think if they really wanted to they could get around that?? At least that's what I thought would happen up until now..

The rep in the script seemed to write computerish! Assuming that was done on a chat support?

honestly, it sounds like she really doesn't know what she's talking about :-/ I'd like to hope we get something, but it sounds like we might be waiting for a very long time, and still not get anything. The way she worded it just leaves it open ended.

I dunno about computerish, but I read it as English is not her first language...

Fingers crossed anyway... it wouldn't be the first time a csr got it wrong, but it'd be great if she was right.

I read the chat log and I don't get it that we'd ges ICS and not just value pack. Anyway, I downloaded the SGS i9000 value pack wanting to port it, bug it's for odin. I'd need some assistance.

I know sometimes, if its a common subject, they have to say it a certain was so that no one can draw any other conclusions that could cause their company to be responsible for something that was not intended, in other words they are required to copy and past a preformed script ... that might explain the computerish response

idk, not really> i mean it sounded kind of choppy, but english second language people speak different. Also, every company is outsourcing these days.

The US support might actually be in China.
