Nice DIY job, but HobbyKing should be avoided like the plague. Bought a $60 part from them, it arrived DOA, I filed a ticket 4.5 hours after the item was received, and nine days later they haven't even read it. (In fact, I filed a Paypal dispute two days ago, and they haven't even responded to that).

I should note that this wasn't a third-party product, either: it was HobbyKing's own house-brand.

Has anyone tried the Tekkeon MP1580 with their One X?

This one takes 4 AAs so it's not going to have the amperage of the Li packs, but sounds like a good match for a set of Eneloops, plus you have the flexibility to use alkalines if you're in a pinch.

Just ordered from fleaBay, shall see how it goes. I figure I can use with my Evo3D to prepare for the 4G LTE's arrival. Having the non-removable battery is going to be the hardest thing to get used to but I'm looking forward to the new tech.
