Default [Q] Using D2 off network

I have an extra d2 I want to use at home as an alarm clock (on a dock) and streaming device. I factory reset it and now I can't get around the new activation screen. Any idea as how to get around this? The touch four corners method doesn't work. The right edge of the screen doesn't respond.

Check out this link: http://theunlockr.com/2010/09/20/how...orola-droid-2/

It definitely works, you just have to try it several times. Be careful not to touch the Change Language or Emergency Call buttons at the bottom.

Default Does not work on this phone

The phone screen does not respond to touch along the right side, (in portrait oreintation) I wound up activating the phone then changing back to my actual phone.

This is the thread that helped me get past the activation screen. Thanks so much. Thought I was going to have to junk the phone because no one seems to have found an unlock code for the phone. Great to know that we don't need an unlock to get past activation.
