Default lapdock for dx2

I've been reading about the motorola lapdocks, has anyone tried this with the dx2? In the description it recommends 1gb of ram. As I understand this it is because the dock runs a shell including a full version of firefox and needs the ram for it. But I'm curious if the shell could be edited, or loose the firefox app to save ram.

From what I've read, when you use the DX2 with a lapdock, the "desktop" experience doesn't load, instead it just mirrors the DX2 screen.......something about the DX2 not having lapdock software on it.

So where did you read about it? I'm curious to know if the keyboard and touch pad works cause that's all I need...

I read it over at DroidXforums. The keyboard and the touchpad worked.
