android os battery usage is 86% with slim and .9.8sbm.plus it overheats easily using network data.hope this gets fixed in future versions.too bad battery life might not get fixed as its an ics issue.

Same as above poster. I'm not experiencing any of those problems. Running Slim 3.2 with Semaphore 9.8sbm. No high Android OS battery drain and no overheating.

I search it a little bit. This is what I found so far:

1) USB 2.0 max current: 0.5A
2) Max current in Android ICS kernel configuration (and Semaphore also) 0.5A
3) Max current in Samsung GB kernel and Samsung ICS kernel for SGSII: 96mA

I don't know what are the consequences of these patch in terms of battery life or the danger of the internal regulator. If for example you plug your phone to USB 3.0 port the max current is 0.9A.

Because, I'm not sure and because of the above facts I will not implement this feature.
