If you are still having PC issues it also be a bad GPU. If you are running a after market one then try taking it out and testing with just onboard. There are only a few things that cause a PC not to boot when power button pressed. To me it would be a lot cheaper to find the part that is bad and replace just it. I to build custom PC's, been doing it for years and have run into my fair share of problems with faulty parts.
