Jig is ten times more dangerous than Triangle Away.

I had a weird experience today. Used triangle away previously on another ics build before reverting to gb. Then today reflashed ics expecting to have to use triangle away again. But it didn't increase my counter. Anyway. This rom is one of the best builds I've used so far. Would highly recommend. No crashes and sleeps well so far for previous 5 hours

Regarding Triangle-away. Why would you guys even risk to brick the living **** out of your notes when flashing Chinese lp1 chainfire repack and using triangle away is 100% aprooved and extremely easy and worthwhile to do? ...

IMO, the JIG method looks easier than the TriangleAway. You have to check for all these checksums and all that tech stuff I won't understand for TriangleAway...

Unless there's a foolproof method and I'm too stupid to see.

Edit: Of course I don't doubt you, chasmodo. I'm just inexperienced with this, so I have my own opinions of things that desperately need changing. Any help is appreciated.

Have you try to uninstall the maps? (Using root explorer or something like that)
And go to this thread google maps ownhere and follow the instruction given. Hope it help.

if i already build in ICS custom rom but not AOSP, must be flash repack again? with my current ics custom rom i have proper root..

Just tried triangle away in cm9 and it reports it can't find the hidden partition.

I was in a proper rooted ics also before i flash this rom. But i was to lazy to risk anything (if something wrong and need to repeat from gb again) so i flash the repack, wipe data and flash cm9.

No single problem then restore your data using titanium backup

Hmmh....I think I´ve got bad news.
The battery drain is very high on this one.

Had a look at my note at work and 6h6min only 67% left.
I used it part time as media player at work, but usually I have about 80% left at the same time.

I mean I´m only one person, but be informed, that possibly this ROM - as fast as it is - eats pretty much battery.

There is no power saving mode/option available like in stunner ICS?
At least I didn´t see it.

So i´m hoping for ICS Stunner 4.5
V4.4 obiously was a faulty release
