There are three files created when you make a backup of an app in Titanium Backup. If you don't already have it, get it and add the three files to the folder TiBu creates on your SD, open TiBu and choose Restore for AdAway. That should eliminate any and all ads in any app you use.

If it doesn't, post the app that still has them and I'll see if I can isolate the ad server and post it for you to add to your blacklist.

Can you isolate the adserver for Newsbook:
http://androidforums.com/android-app...ws-reader.html
That would be great.

Gimmea few and I'll see what I can find out. In the meantime, verify the spelling of the ad server please.

The first time, I didn't get this ad server in the list. Add it to your hosts file as well.

Default exceptions?

Is there any way to make exceptions in the block list?

I get an email newsletter and all of the links in it go through click.icptrack.com, which is blocked...

Here's an example...
(won't let me post full links yet... Commas are periods...)

click,icptrack,com/icp/relay,php?r=16240247&msgid=430294&act=ES3A&c=19506 2&destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww,straightdope,com%2F columns%2Fread%2F3045%2Fcan-a-hard-hit-baseball-crush-your-skull-revisited

This never displayed any ads, just checks how often links are clicked etc... I would like to be able to allow this site so that my newsletter will be useable again. Also on Facebook mobile, trying to click the "view full site" button, it goes through the same site.

Default RSS but not as you know it...

I sort of haven't been keeping up with this thread because of work, one such work project is a different kind of RSS reader.

There is numerous things that bug me about RSS, like needing to leave a PC turned on to get stories that you would otherwise miss, too bad when you go on holidays.

Or the fact that you get a very small sentence on some feeds and you have to figure out if it's worth reading further or not just based on that.

I'm looking for about 10 people to help sort out some remaining bugs and to suggest useful features that also bugs them about the current state of RSS feeds and/or readers and how to make it a much more useful medium.

PM me if you are interested.

PS I should have a version of adfree that works with ICS shortly, I've been waiting for an ICS build for my phone to come out and it has now.
