Well I work away so it keeps me amused on the plane each week and is easier than having to get out my laptop.

Had my Desire for 2 years and still happy with it, especially after installing runnymead aio 6 rom. Memory issues are a thing of the past. The only thing i`d like is improved camera , I considered the HTC One series but the negatives are video recording problems, fixed battery and memory. Perhaps HTC Two

I had an HTC evo 3d for a day but returned it because it was too bulky. I'll keep the desire for a long time I think because of the huge amount of custom roms and its perfect size.
It's also still fast enough for everything and has a decent battery life so I don't really see the point in getting a new phone.

I will be keeping my Desire for the foreseeable future .... I own it outright (actually I got it 2nd hand) ... and have a cheap PAYG SIM (2hrs talk (in France), unlimited texts, and 'unlimited' internet (in reality 200Gb)) for 13.99 Euros.

I got the Desire as a plaything (work provides me with a Blackberry), as I recently bought a tablet ... and wanted to see what the phones could do too. I choose the Desire, as my wife has a stock one that she is pleased with.

I just recently started using it more, so I immediately S-Offed/rooted and flashed Sandvolds ICS so both my devices now on ICS.

Will be leaving the BB in the drawer at weekends ...

My plan is to keep my Desire long enough, for the SGS3 to be released, then once that is out i'll make a choice between that, the HTC One X and probably whatever new Google Nexus phone is out (im assuming the SGS3 won't be "released" for a while yet)

I have loved my Desire though, in terms of community development, I don't think the same levels will be reached with any phone, ever again
