1. I didn't use the trick thing because the method was a little confusing but I got it down to 4%

2. I checked it at 100% and at 95%. The result was only a little higher.

3. Yeah there was no previous history.

In the screenshot it showed the max battery level as 99%. What you gotta do to make sure it shows 100% in the calibration screen is just wait for a whole 5 min after the green light comes on, DONT use the phone during that time. The battery history only gets logged once every 5 min and you want the highest battery percentage getting logged for these tests. You should also do multiple runs with the same battery for consistency's sake, like 3 runs would probably be good.

To OP, I'm starting on my 4000 mAh Seidio battery, not the 1900 like previously stated (my friend had my 4000 in the back of his car for almost a week, I was starting to miss it ). I'm not draining using your suggested method because I'm not in a rush. I'm going to use my phone normally while discharging, and charge with the phone screen off the whole time (and it seems like charging is really where the battery monitor app gets its calibration info from anyway). I'll also do tests with my OEM battery and post results, just so you have something to compare the rest of my results to, since my tests are going to be run slightly differently than yours and we don't know if/how my methods will skew results.
My current phone:

CDMA Evo 3D
ROM: Viper3D 1.6.3 r330
Kernel: Anthrax 3.7.0, OC @ 1566MHz

great! yes the charging is where BMW do the calibration, but the bigger the charge range the more accurate it should be. Normal use discharge is OK, but just take forever on the big batteries

Yup it was 100% (green light) then I used it for a few mins and took that screen shot.

Try doing a 2nd and 3rd run and see if the result change?

Its possible your battery is not the same as the one i got. That's the risk with buying generic battery, they can be different from seller to seller and even using the same seller they can be different from batch to batch.

I've attached some pictures

I pulled the label also just for the heck of it

it read

TMB-ZXS
524548A
110719/125

Yeah, im doing another test now. I don't really want to rip the sticker off, because I plan on using this battery. But here is a pic of it:

label is different so its very likely the battery is different than mine.

As for the label, if you are careful they can usually be pull off partially and reapply without damage

Yeah, I know but I don't want to risk it. The text on the labels are identical, so they could just be manufactured at different times or the label was made by a different company. (these batteries cost exactly the same).

I'm doing run 2 of the test, so hopefully i'll get a more accurate number (it is charging to 100% now).

Yeah at some point soon, I'm just going to go for max battery drain, I've used just under 25% battery in 7.5 hrs. I've been using my phone most of the day (a lot of music playing though, not much battery-intensive stuff with screen on) and I'm at 78% still . Should we be using the mA corrections option in the BMW settings? I only ask because it seems weird (in a good way) that the mA recordings are between -2 and -10 when my phone is asleep; I don't remember them being that low when I tried this app out a couple months ago (could just be battery improvements in the ROM I'm running too though...)

Edit: just so you know, my sig says I'm on a 3.5 ROM but I'll be on the same 3.0 ROM for every test I run in the foreseeable future, for consistency's sake. I doubt that a 3.5 ROM would make much of a difference but I just want to use a ROM built from an official build and not a 3.5 port

ReEdit: aldjfalksdjflkaj my ROM crashed less than 5 min after posting that. I'm going to a stock rooted ROM for these tests now

I can also post some info on my Seidio 4000mah later once i finish discharging this cycle and then charge it back up. Unfortunately it takes a good 7+ Hours to charge to 100%

Edit: Also, I needed to clear Battery History so it will take a day before i post my results
Fast As Hell
