I did mine just after I stepped out of the shower on my first attempt, unfortunately it was still a disaster but that was more because of the fact the Vituiki CV8 I was fitting has an adhesive backing and I think the main reason it went wrong was because I had to re-position the protector as I was putting it on, this left adhesive in areas causing marks underneath.

I am loving the idea of using the tape though, I think mine would have been perfect had I used that.. Very simple yet effective idea!

Having used the genuine HTC protectors for my desire myself I ordered these. They are completely useless as they are way inferior and fall about 2mm short each side. The only way to get a good fit is via a wet application such as Zagg one. Due to the outer of the one X screen being convex, nothing will fit correctly. Don't waste your hard earned cash my friends

Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
HTC Sensation XE (T-MOBILE )

HTC DESIRE (More E-Bay fodder)
TOUCH HD ( E-Bay Heaven)
T-MOBILE MDA PRO (lost to E-Bay!)
T-MOBILE VARIO ll (also gone down the E-Bay road)

Recieved an update on the Spigen protector:

We just wanted to let you know that we are going to release some products for the HTC One X.

We do not have definite dates from our Manufacturers when the new products will be released,
But we do have a confirmation from them that we will be releasing Steinheil Screen Protectors and some cases (but we do not know the definite styles as of now) for the HTC One X.

I've tried this twice and both times I got something underneath the protector . The problem then was how to get it out . In dry conditions I can use tape but once it's wet/humid It's just about impossible if it isn't 100% after the first attempt.

My phone should arrive today along with Martin Fields Screen Protectors, i know these are a lot more expensive but in my experience they last a lot longer and feel a lot better then the cheap rubbish
