ICE9 by jasonevil

All credit goes to jasonevil for his magnificent custom ICS theme, and thanks to him for letting me port it our phone:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1327602

What's themed: Framework, Phone, Contacts.
  • Cherry picked ring lockscreen from CM7.2
  • Blue button text
  • A few cherry picked assets from the ICS for Milaq's CM6.3.5, since they were not present in this theme

Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?pom8wcz64cltd8q

Please apply this CMTheme.xml in CyanogenMod settings to get the blue text in the notification area/status bar: ICE9.txt

Revision History:
v1: Initial port. Lots of xml and .9 changes!

Enjoy!

I learned a lot from porting ICE9, and a lot of it involved me relearning some of the things I thought I had mastered. I would prefer to write a guide after I port another theme so that the foundation is solid.

For now, I recommend those who would like to learn to this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1422116

It has a lot of information which I have been learning from. I don't use the same tools as he does (in fact, I don't think anyone uses the same tools...), but it's a good start.

Some of the tools I'd recommend (though their use will remain unanswered) are: WinMerge, apktool, RegexRenamer, and FrameworkFlasher. I hope to mention these in the future guide

Gingerblur Update:

I ported some assets from the Droid X framework, as well as from Dexter's Froyo Motoblur Remake 0.4 to create these lockscreens:

Please find v2 here: http://www.mediafire.com/?z6fx4cffw7w1dpi

Enjoy!

Is this the port of the ICS theme for Milaq's CM6? Or the ICE9 theme?
I assume you mean the stock keyboard? I apologize, since I don't use it, I couldn't have tested it. Please confirm, and I'll take a look!

No, these themes are framework-specific. They will bootloop even different versions of CM6.
