And I've red that the NvCPLSvc.apk was in the wrong place, so I've moved it to the right one (system/apps) and gave it the same permission that all of the others, but it didn't work. I've now just figured that it's missing the NvCPLSvc.odex

Can it be the reason of it not working?
You don't miss NvCPLSvc.odex because NvCPLSvc.apk is not odexed.

1. Download resigned NvCPLSvc - http://xda3.androidrevolution.nl/db_...s/NvCPLSvc.apk

2. adb push NvCPLSvc.apk /system/app

3. reboot into recovery

4. Clear dalvik-cache

5. Boot system and check if system@app@NvCPLSvc.apk@classes.dex is in data/dalvik-cache

It would seem the info on this is being drip fed...

I have moved the apk and have the above in data/dalvik-cache but under running processes it says the NvCPL Service is sleeping. Please can someone in the know give us sufficient info to do the whole job and check it works.

Thank you

hehehe thanks for finding it anyways

So for guys who haven't done it yet:

1.use a root explorer to copy the apk from /system/bin to /system/app

2.go to the advanced menu in leedroid tweaks and wipe dalvik cache

3.Say no when it asks for a reboot (this a hot reboot so better do a full one)

4.lond press power button and do a FULL reboot from there

5.TADA ...your power saver now works

EDIT: BTW... if anyone is looking for a free root explorer ... id suggest ex file explorer that included in the rom ... but i personally paid for root explorer

EDIT2: Remember to switch on the root mode in the settings of ex file explorer ... also remember to mount the system as r/w

Default Strange Behaviour ...

I got my ONE X a few days ago, and to make a long story short, the original ROM had numerous bugs; however, once I installed the LeeDrOiD ROM, virtually everything works great.

I say virtually because I have one particularly strange and frustrating issue ...

I have an app called PhoneWeaver that automatically changes profile settings based on a number of factors, time, Wifi connection, etc. This app ran very well on numerous previous phones, but there's strange behaviour with this phone.

At 11pm each evening, PhoneWeaver changes my profile automatically to Flight mode. This reduces battery consumption significantly. Under normal circumstances, the phone should automatically come out of flight mode at 7am each morning. However, this does not happen with the ONE X. The phone will remain in Flight mode, in deep sleep, until I manually wake up the phone. The moment I do this, my 7am profile immediately takes effect. Although I haven't tested it for more than a few minutes after 7am, I'm sure that the phone would remain in Flight mode forever (figuratively speaking) until I manually wake up the phone. This should not happen.

I realize that with the Tegra 3, there is a 5th core that's utilized almost exclusively when the phone sleeping. I guess you could say it goes into very deep sleep. Could this be affecting PhoneWeaver? Is there a way to solve this problem?

Thanks,
Peter
