From a brief 30 second look, it is another RUU updater. I don't know the differences sorry -- perhaps this could be of use to someone. Thought it was worth posting :)

To install the Treo 750 Update Recovery Tool click on the download link below, select the desired language, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Note: The following information and the software tool posted here are for use ONLY in the event that you have attempted to take the Treo 750v Updater 1.16 for Vodafone Customers and the device has become unresponsive.

When prompted to “Put the device into updater mode”, please reference the illustration below.

*Illustration shows pressing stylus in Reset hole + Bottom left side key (default: Windows Media Player) button simultaneously.*

Description of the device after administering the recovery tool
After successfully administering the Treo 750 Update Recovery Tool the device will display the following message:

'The Update has completed successfully'

At this point, the device will reset and the user will be prompted through the set up process.
When this process is complete, the Today Screen will appear and the device is once again ready to install the Treo 750v Updater 1.16 for Vodafone Customers. "

You could not stay in one site (4Shared for example) and share here on the topic. It would help more people and the XDA community. If an application is free of course!

always the same, someone made an error while flashing their treo and this happened, use the customruu! method is easier and 90 percent safe almost flawless.
