No more updates

so i was reading the comments on this official CM ROM, and found out that it has still a bunch of bugs? i hope they shall be fixed soon.

Update would be nice

Hello everyone,

I have been using this ROM for just over a week now and thought I might as well give my view on it for those who are wondering if they should try it or not.

After installing CWM5 I was able to install the ROM first time without an issue at all, it installed insanely fast and booted and worked first time.

The first thing which I noticed and some people went a little mad about was the missing App Market (Google Play) and GMail etc. There is a reason for this and to cut it short it is pretty much due to licencing and has been explained on the Cyanogen website.
Do not fear though as someone (apologies as I forgot to make a note of who before hitting reply and I would like to thank them) supplied the Google Play signed .apk so the Market and can be installed extremely easily.

I installed Google Play from the .apk and had no problems installing Google Maps, GMail etc.

The first thing you notice with this ROM is the speed, it is very quick, faster than fresh stock ROM (which I tend to find as you install more stuff get slower which so far this has not).

The battery life is also pretty darn grand! And I am going longer between chargers by about a day.

The general look and feel of the ROM was a delight and the ability to swipe notifications (I believe this is a ICS feature) from the notification bar is a nice touch.

The stability is great, not once has an app I have installed crashed

and the phone hasn't crashed or required a reboot due to a crash

Issues;

Now please note I am not complaining here I am simply compiling a list of potential bugs or problems some people may like to consider before installing and I would like to see sorted in an update

> The backlight for the buttons at the bottom, when on WIFI randomly light up and go off, it happens occasionally when mobile data is on but it happens a lot when just on wifi, I actually think it is network activities in the background but I am sure some one knows the potential actual cause.

> My screen does not light up when I receive texts (I can't even remember if the stock ROM done this but I am sure it did - but I had this issue with a few ROMs so not too sure what is going on there) I simply bought and installed iPhone Notifications

> Through night if I leave the wireless on my battery gets a lot more wore down than it should when not in use and the screen is off

> Force close on torch app (note that so far I have not had any other apps need to force close on me for crashing etc, it is proving to be extremely stable)

I should of and could of went into more detail but I am writing this at work while avoiding my managers glance...

Good review thanks for that.
To my opinion it was the best rom but unfor.tunatly was not finished...
Hope someone can finish it. Maybe Slaid480 will end up with a super stable rom?

Till this time, v0-a made a really good work and i'm stick to that rom!
