Have you tried sering the correct opengles version in build.prop? peoplereported it working fine then. See the OpenFIMG theed in development for details (few pages back by now).

only kernel which works with cm.7.2a8...i don't know if it works on sny other rom(i guess not) & openfimg is also kernel related so watch out...it's meant for those people who changed kernel while running cm7.2a8 & they want to go back to cm7 kernel that came with cm7.2a8....so....
