It's something happening on all sgs devices and I think it's ICS specific.

Ahh ok. I thought it was Swype at first. I will just have to deal with it I guess.

I just installed the butter theme and I'm very impressed. I love that it isn't over the top. Very clean. Thanks

Hey guys,
I got something creating a file .thumbnails inside DCIM folder that is almost 900MB. Is there a way to avoid it? Is this from Gallery and if so, since I use Quickpic is there a problem if I remove Gallery?
Thanks

There are only 4 jpgs in inside that .thumbnails folder with that large file called .thumbdata3-1763508120

There are a few more folders inside DCIM but empty and yes in SDCARD.

Well it isn't Gallery. I don't have any such file eating up space. Must be another app.

I had a file like that in the thumbnail folder. It was only 29 megs but I deleted it anyway. I suspect it has a log or a prefetch type function and will be re-created if necessary. So far, my phone hasn't exploded.

I got that too but it's not 900MB big. Just delete them and monitor it?
