i think he talks about the grey tone =) the wlan grey differs from radio bar ones or other way around if you look closely

And btw right now they don't switch to blue, even when I open PlayStore or GMail - normal?

not quite =) i on o2 too in germany, can take a little while but shouldnt stay grey

The blue bar is depending on the sync of your device. So if you open the play store it needn´t become blue. So if it turns blue, sometimes, it´s also normal.

I don´t think that there´s a possibility but are you watching at your phone while you call some one? xD

No but when the call is incoming my girlfriend stretched to full screen is very ugly, I can't stand it.
