I was wondering if someone could help me, I am trying to change the softkey icons via ASS but when I locate the icon and select it I get an error saying something like settings have stopped.

I have tried doing a full wipe but keep getting the same error.

This is, in my opinion, far and away the best ICS Rom available for this device. I am absolutely delighted at the speed and simplicity.

Krarvind, I'd like to throw this on my wife's phone which is the GT-i9000 Vibrant from Bell. Now, as you know the Canadian Vibrant is pretty much just the international i9000 but the American Vibrant is nerfed I believe. Since you too are in Canada I'm not sure which software I should grab for her phone from your site since you've got links for both Vibrant and i9000. Is that link for the US Vibrant and if so I suppose I would want the standard i9000 link since she's got the Canadian one?

For me this is very impressive for battery but unlike a lot of people I don't expect the battery to get me any further than a day so as it did with that use I'm more than happy. That was hardly letting the phone sleep all day and has probably been my heaviest days use. Yesterday I had 14 hours or so with just over 3 hours on screen and about an hour of music listening with 35% left so again another impressive day. I don't use any apps to save battery as I believe using apps defeats the object of saving battery and checking the battery all the time also is silly as you're using the phone Phones were made to be used so use them and stop looking at your battery
Just checked now.....14 hours and counting is decent, a working day is the minimum id accept, say 12 hours but previous roms had me reaching for the charger after 6-8 hours which isnt acceptable imo,

as for bat saving apps etc im with you on that, add more apps/widgets to save power?!....doesnt seem logical lol although im sure others would disagree

No I wouldn't accept anything less than my day from which in general is between 14-16hours as a minimum and the closest I've come in that time is down to about my last 3 or 4% so it's yet to fail me

Common sense and sensible thinking FTW! Unfortunately people believe what they want or they're all trying to save the planet and consume less energy

Could it be a dpi scaling issue with the app? What dpi are you both using out of interest? I don't think it would require you to reflash the ROM for an app issue like that, maybe remove the app and install it again on stock dpi if you're not already on it.

I flashed the ROM again, and installed straight from market. It worked fine.

Im guessing its an issue with the App and Titanium Backup.

Pretty sure before, i restored the app without data. So i've reported that to Boid.

Using 220DPI now. all working fine.

I have tried that also but with no luck.

I have done a full wipe (system/data/cache/delvik) and I have also done a system wipe (system only, not data) and re flashed but still getting the same problem.

Doesn't make sence lol

I was wondering now that I have switched to ICS how to get the same phone options as I had in GB. Options like pressing power to end call and how the screen lock works in call, auto redial, etc... How do i get those options back while still keeping Slim?

Just to be clear, in recovery you did go into mounts and storage and format system right. many people confuse this with a wipe. I would try the process again following the steps in the OP. You did download the I9100 essentials correct.

sorry for the poor punctuation, the multi-lingual keyboard has a mind of it`s own.
