What strikes most is the change in scroll performance, now you don't have to try hard to hold unto an item that you want to activate while scrolling fast, bln works like a charm, thank you gokhan

So far so good.

Scrolling is great.

Autobrightness is working.

I reset fuel guage at 5 pm and I still have 12 percent. Four hours and still have 12 percent

I have been using 3.0.1 till a few days back, and since yesterday i am using 3.1rc4. The battery drain is definitely there. It lost around 18% battery overnight, and there were no weird wakelocks in BBS and i made sure that i ended all processes before i went to sleep yesterday. From 87 percent yesterday night to 69% today morning. There is continous drain and the curve is angled and it keeps falling. this is not the default behavior of previous siyah kernels. However, The best battery life i have had is with 3.0rc3. In that kernel, the phone, in standby, hardly sucks any juice at all! I've had more than 9 hours of screen on time with that kernel and i've posted the screenshots in this thread as well. It actually feels that the phone will run till infinity when its on standby and that it will only suck juice when using the phone! that was a wonderful thing and i am back to that kernel now.

I am not criticizing, i am just stating my observations with my phone. I am on the latest CM9 right now.

I do not tweak any values and i do not undervolt. I use Siyah Kernel as is. It ROCKS! Way to GO GM!! I just hope that these battery drain issues have been fixed in the rc5. Ill flash that now and check

Hi Gokhan,

I love your kernel, there's only one thing missing : enable BLN without the need for any third party app.

Maybe you could combine your BLNWW and a SGS2 adaption of this
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/20362-mod...-droid-charge/
in one single lights.exynos4.so file.

AOSP/CM9 based users and cooks could directly replace that lights library in their ROM package together with your kernel and enable BLN by using the built-in "Pulse lights" option under Settings -> Display - no more ExTweaks and no more BLN Control.

What do you think about that?

This problem is an issue in the latest version of the xda app, its not yet solved, so you have to use the previous version or an PC to upload screenshots again.

or you convert the png to jpg before uploading ..

Test!

Yeah it workes again with tapatalk 2 !

You should know that the changes to the frequency scale ultimately affects how much you can undervolt. Hyping about undervolt values not working in a new version is just asinine.
