Default [Q][i9000M] Enabling CWM Without SDK?

After flashing dozens of ROMs and kernels for my Galaxy SII I thought I had left the noob stage. Now I'm trying to do the same for my wife's i9000M for the first time and it's much, much more difficult. After getting out of a couple of soft-bricks I finally have her device rooted and am on the Semaphore kernel, but the phone still will not boot to recovery (3 button method). From a bit of reading I see that this is normal, but I haven't found a definitive solution.

I've found this very excellent guide, but I'm a little hung up at the point where you have to input commands in the SDK.

Has a more streamlined solution been found for i9000M users?

Forgive me. It wasn't that I didn't search, I just hadn't figured out the proper search terms. With the right terms I found the easy solution.

Once a CWM Kernel is installed recovery on this phone is reached by holding power + middle of volume rocker, that's it.

Sorry if this question was unbelievably redundant.
