buy the cutter with adapters

I bought a sim cutter off ebay but it was a dud. the Sim would not align properly in the cutter and it would chop off the edge of the metal contact. I ended up going into a Vodafone store and getting a replacement micro sim for free!

I bought the One X on a second line, the sim that came with the phone was not a micro sim! Good thing I was planning on giving that sim to the wife with my old Desire lol!

My store gave me three sim adapters for free with phone and my operator changed my sim to micro for free too.

i cut it down by myself with the help of the htc micro sim slot opener. works perfect. i cut it down with scissors and then i got the nail file from my girlfriend and filed it down so it fits perfectly.

I'm on o2 UK and just walked into a o2 store, they transferred my tariff and number etc in 2 minutes and a couple hours later everything is ready to roll on my new micro sim that also came with adaptors all for for free.

my career wants around 15 EUR for the replacement of my old SIM card, so I deceided to go to an electronic market, they cut my SIM into a micro sim without any charge.

I have done it without a sim-cutter today. Fits perfect but the sim isn't detected by the phone :/ But its not that tragic I get a free New sim from my carrier anyway which should arrive tommorow. But still curious why it won't work.

O2 gave me a free micro sim and transferred my number to it.
They even gave me a free adapter in case I needed to put it back in my old phone.

Like another poster said above used a cutter to cut my GG sim and it sliced a bit of the bottom edge off and was causing me issues on the phone, sim not recognised and what not.

Asked GG for a replacement sim been 6 working days and STILL NOT received one the downsides of having an internet only support carrier! I'm so angry with them as it's my main number and losing important calls.

I didn't revive my dim today, hope it comes tomorrow, else I will go to an o2 shop and hope that I can get one there.
