Default What are the benefits?

I currently have a rooted KF but with stock Rom using Go Launcher. What benefits do I get if I were to flash a custom Rom? I don't have any current performance issues. Thanks.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 - i317 - AWS Enabled * ROM: 4.3 DN3 3.1 Kernel: AGNi
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 * ROM: Hyperdrive RLS8

A fresh new look for one more ability to customize it to your liking some roms have tweaks here and there but if your happy with go launcher eating a chunk of your ram to run it personally I feel the benefits depend on what your looking for :)

It is all depends on what you want out of your device

Just back up your current setup and flash some things to see what/if you like
