I just came from the DFT rom to this, here is my quick review:
  • Obvious Tango differences (multiple image MMS, etc.)
  • Ansar's rom has a few additional annoyances such as pre-installed programs which don't do anything for me (AT&T, etc.)
  • Ansar's rom includes (limited) out-of-the-box broken functionality such as the inability to modify the search button which defaults to open Phone (I grabbed the .xap from another build so I could adjust this)
  • Both roms have been stable
  • Tango seems maybe slightly faster, particularly when moving around quickly between apps
  • Ansar's rom includes "Camera Modes" which I don't believe was present in DFT. Make sure you don't update this or it will disable it
  • The TouchExplorer app was non-functional for me
  • DFT includes the DFT startup screen, Ansar's is just the HTC boot screen

Both have worked great for me so I don't think you can go wrong.

do a google search for "searchkeysettings.xap" should be one of the first links to come up

If you do this from the phone ie you can also install it right away

I found the xap here, installed it but it doesnt work ... it shows up under settings, and when I tap it i see a black screen for a few seconds then it goes back to the settings main screen

I also tried this one by Ultrashot that was found on the XDA forums here

And this one here (which is the one given to ansar)

All go to a black screen and then exit out

any ideas?
