I used juice defender also. I get 20 hours between charges, and that's with using my phone as a phone also...

Also, what are your opinions of the Triumph?
Battery life -- Switch wifi off when not using it, keep your screen timeout low and brightness down, and use betterbatterystats (google it) to see what is using your battery the most

Wipes -- If you are updating your currrent ROM, you should only need to wipe cache and dalvik-cache. If you have issues, you may need to wipe data as well. Before wiping data, do a backup with TitaniumBackup. Once you wipe everything and install the ROM, reboot and wait a full 5 minutes. Download TitaniumBackup and restore your apps. Then open ADW Launcher Settings and restore. This should set your home-screens up the way you had it.

New build of BACKside-IHO us up!

Download via the BacksideUpdater (just wait till you see the new one!)

or

BACKside-IHO-VM670-04172012.zip
md5sum d396e9c3e62e80747f00877415ea6bb7

GreenMachineTheme-04172012.zip

Changes: Synced with CM and cherry-picked some changes
-- Lots of behind the scenes code improvements in dalvik, should lead to smoother performance
-- -- BacksideUpdater huge update!!!
-- -- Added download progress indicator but it is still OK to exit and let it complete in the background
-- -- Added the ability to Automatically Install ROM Updates!!
-- -- -- Once you have downloaded the ROM package and BacksideUpdater verifies it, you can select Install ROM Now and your phone will reboot and wipe cache/dalvik-cache and install the ROM and reboot back to normal All Automatically!

For the best results download and install CWM-Green-Recovery, a new recovery I built for just this purpose!

Note- Automatic install has been tested to work on CWM-Green, BobZhome, IHO, and Drew's-Touch recoveries. Automatic wipe dalvik-cache only works on CWM-Green-Recovery.

Thanks as always to Blarf, BobZhome, mrg666, tdm, LeslieAnn, gannon, tvall, Whyzor, bigsupersquid, kermikalelite, the CM team, the AOSP team, and a whole lot more!

Downloaded earlier this morning, installing now.

Note: followed these instructions from your CWM-Green page
Quote:
1- Open the BacksideUpdater
2a- Follow the prompts to download the latest ROM update
2b- Press the Menu key and select Choose A Zip From Sdcard -or- Show All Versions, then follow prompts to select file
3- BacksideUpdater will verify the package file size and md5sum
4- Select Reboot Recovery
5- Select Install ROM Now to automatically install the package
but it didn't give me the "Install ROM" option, just booted into recovery and had to do it manually.

..... gone green today in honor of your latest update .....

1,000 thank you's to Jerry and all the other devs!

The Install ROM Now option is in the newest build of BacksideUpdater included in the newest build of BACKside-IHO (0417). You'll see it next time you update.

tvall's kernel has made CM7 bearable for me, coupled with 16bit alpha transparency option. I used BFQ instead of the SIO default to test with and have my CPU speed set to stock and man, everything is really responsive. Typing is no longer a pain, and in fact, more responsive than Froyo. Scrolling is very smooth in almost all apps (sidenote: I disabled scrolling cache) and all I have to complain about is the meager battery life.

Running Jerry's lateset with tvall's kernel is a match made in heaven! Also really like Jerry's recovery, especially how wiping cache and dalvik cache are combined into one command. My only issue now is finding time to biild me a new green theme to match with recovery. Yes, i'm a little OCD when it comes to matching

DONATE TO ME
Just noticed something WONDERFUL in Jerry's latest build
That missing space in my internal has finally returned
My free space jumped from around 20MB to 60MB

I know i wasn't the only one that suffered from the missing space a couple updates ago and this was great news to me and I'm sure many others

*edit
Ok... it's slowly dropping everytime i check my applications.. it's down to 39MB atm.. 31...
and it seems to have stopped at 29MB.. it was nice while it lasted xD'

Jumped back up to 35MB...
