That's right you will still be able to OTA safely as long as you dont unlock BL, you might lose root after update though.

Just reporting that this doesn't work on ATT Atrix 4G firmware .141.

wat r the pc requirements of thes rooting software?

just bought atrix from Expansys 45.31.0.mb860.retail.en.GB, can confirm it works
