I want this phone. I used to have an HTC Aria before I broke it... I think a HTC ONE V is a good replacement.

I want to buy this phone after a few months.
It will be my first smartphone.

I would like to know if there is any noticeable lag while navigating through apps and multitasking?

Thanks.

Very little.

But I admit that it's a bit more slower than my old LG O2X in general use. Instagram is not that faster either.

Default I am

Yesterday I ordered this phone. I am very curious to its performance. At this moment I am still using my Desire (with Sandvold ICS 0.6).
Still works great, but I got a good deal for this One, so hopefully I can leave some user experiences later this week.

Update 19-04:
Just received the phone. First thing that I annoyingly noticed is that in settings, storage only 1GB is shown. So not the promised 4GB! Anyone else noticed this?
Mio A701 (Not in use)
Samsung Jet (Sold)
HTC Desire (Sent to recycle) (Sandvold 0.6)
HTC One V (Primo) as of 19-04-2012 running myOneV RC9.5FX

I heard that the browser performance is bad, but I don't know.

You can only have four tabs open in the standard browser. And well, it's not as quick as my old LG Optimus 2X was. But I don't see it as a problem. It's fast enough for me.

I have also installed Chrome Beta which also works just fine.

I'm in After the initial charge I'll fire it up and root! I can't wait until we have CWM Recovery.

Looks like a nice upgrade from my trusty Wildfire S.

___________

Edit: Oh, yeah... a great update from the Wildfire S
