I've changed my region using your tool just to make sure and the ro.sony.build.incremental value value was 1 so i set it to 0 but i still have the same problem

run recovery mode, try to flash the same update zip as always,
it will give you error. Wait 2-3min after that, run in command prompt:

adb pull /tmp/recovery.log

and attach the file here.

Mine's a UK device so locale GB i think

Weird thing i noticed was the recovery log says US but my region.prop file says GB (unless that's normal lol)

The update was just one downloaded using the OTA downloader functionality.

THanks, I used this tool to install a backdoor & unroot my device.
Also, if I ever need the backdoor, how would I use it?

Try to redownload OTA after last region change, and try to flash it.

even with the 2.6 version wifi ad hoc problem still occurs..i have to reflash the rom again..
