i tried nova. really didnt like it. so ive been using trebuchet for months. recently tried apex and its everything trebuchet should have been. some of the default settings are annoying and needed to be changed but i can finally fix the icon grid.

I have also tried nova and apex but always return to ADW launcher EX. There are very few things added by the ICS launchers and I'm used to
ADW.

Still I suggest that you try them yourself. They aren't a huge download but having multiple launchers can be annoying if you don't a set one as the default :/

Another vote for Apex. I like the vanilla android experience and it's very similar to default, just with some nice additional options (like double tap on the background for options, etc.)

You can? Their FAQ says tablets aren't supported??
So what determines if app gets automatically restored on a new device??

It's ADW EX for me too, I like the added gestures. I swipe up for the App drawer, and down for the notification bar

SPB launcher 3D works very well on the touchpad although it took me a while to get things set up the way I want, there are so many options available that you could change the setup daily for weeks without running out of options.
