---------- Post added at 01:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:03 PM ----------

Wifi stopped working.
I am on 2.7 flashed over 2.6
It worked two days before

sent from my m'Atrix

What does it say when you try to turn wifi on? If it says "Error" try reflashing the kernel or fixing permissions

Have you tried other wifi devices on the same wifi network? ;)
Also, if you are using a public wifi somewhere, open the browser, might need you to login to the wifi.

Other than that...see what IP address you are getting in your wifi settings

Wi-Fi issues still present

I flashed V2.7 GT+ and then Faux's latest CM7 kernel (1.45 GHz) - which fixes the "Error" with Wi-Fi.

Well... no more errors, that's for sure. But the bug from V2.6 is still there : if you enable Wi-Fi using the pulldown toggle, the phone does not connect; you have to open the Wi-Fi menu in order for it to do that. :)
Not ALWAYS, but... 80% of the times - when I need it the most, very quick -.-

---------- Post added at 09:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:16 PM ----------

I didn't know FORMATTING a flash drive DOESN'T erase any trace of anything. I thought deleting leaves some traces behind, but FORMAT erases EVERYTHING... :/

Am I the only one with that numbers issue? Does anyone have a suggestion on what I could try to do?

I saw that too...If you enable wifi from the power control widget, it seems to be fine...but the pull does isn't. However, if wifi is already enabled with I go into a known network, it connects in less than a second instead of waiting for me to go into a setting.

Formating writes all bytes to 0's....usually a 3-5 pass wipe will make the files just about useless, even if they are somewhat recoverable.

I guess there's pretty much nothing I can do about the Wi-Fi  it is fine on CM9/MIUIv4. Oh well... crappy Gingerbread

And... regarding formatting... I'm not gonna EMP my phone to be sure there's no trace of some previous ROM on it, LOL.

supersu freezes for me pretty often, i only realize it when i can't enter root explorer, then i try to go into supersu and everythings black(except for the statusbar)
force close and reopen helps
it keeps freezing after like one minute.

I had this very same problem. Flash SuperUser 3.0.7 from my signature. It's rock solid and for some reason I prefer it over SuperSU.

Awhhhh Come on! Why not! :p Fine then I forbid you for complaining about any problems since you wont EMP your phone between every flash =D hahahahaha

You're just having all sorts of issues, aren't you. I haven't had this at all....You can try the mod to put SuperUser back on in xploited's signature...but you might have just got a bad flash....

On another note...I've been spending the last 12 hours playing with Aroma....I'm doing my first test install with it now....I must have screwed something up lol....I got it all Neutrino-ized, and have the options and everything set up correct so I can select the addons/mods/which kernel you want to install and everything. Then during the actual install...it is hanging at installing system....so i must have something wrong in Notorius's script when I removed the part about installing Kernel there.

EDIT:xploited beat me to it =P

I am not sure why you are having this bug. I did a clean install of 2.7 and haven't had this problem. I mean sometimes WIFI takes a long time to connect, but that's like 5% of all cases.

Which radio are you using?

---------- Post added at 10:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:14 PM ----------

i could just download it from market, and that's what i will do, can i just delete supersu from system apps without any consequencies?

I doubt it. That's why I created the CWM package. :D
There are actually two files involved in the superuser app. The apk and the su binary. And you also have to create a sym link and set the right permissions. :D

Are you sure you have English selected as the input language? What happens if you long press the buttons where the numbers are missing?

Well, I'm in Romania, Europe. No AT&T. Hence, I'm using N_01.95.00R, which appears to be from the initial Gingerbread release from last year's June.

I doubt this is radio-related. As I said, I'm having NO issues with the Wi-Fi not connecting fast on MIUIv4 and CM9 (which are beta's, at their best, and without official drivers)...

I am not sure if it can all be done by just installing the apk. You can always try it. :)

Is anyone else having problems with their phones randomly rebooting?

I may have to do a completely clean install, but I am a little hesitant about doing something like that. I'll just wait until CM9 is ready to do a clean install.

Mine did once today...for the first time...But it happened right when I connected my USB cable....I think its a hardware problem for me though because I cant get anything to mount through USB in recovery or in the ROM....it was working fine earlier...

EDIT: Correction....Just took out battery and left unplugged for 10 minutes...I can mount everything again.

Lawl, that's funny. Guess the battery and the motherboard had a few altercations... you separated them for a bit, so they would chill.

    - Massive 54% cut in size

    - Increased Dalvik cache to 160m

    - FULL GPU rendering
Uses ONLY GPU to FULLY render the UI, making everything much more smooth and fluid.

    - Ext4 w/o journaling
Removes the journal from Ext4 which heavily increases I/O speeds and makes everything faster.

    - Kernel and Networking tweaks
Improves kernel efficiency as well as faster Wi-Fi and data. Also contributes to much better overall efficiency and smoothness

    Please read before downloading

This is an enormously STRIPPED DOWN ROM. Many features YOU need may NOT be available in the base package. If there is any loss of functionality, you'll need to flash an ADDON by clicking the link below.

Before you download, ensure your contacts are saved onto your SD card or memory card. Contact/calender sync is not included natively, you must flash the 'Sync addon.'

This is a CM7 BASED ROM. So anything that doesn't work on CM7 like Webtop will NOT work on this ROM also. Please do not request non-CM7 features.
    Install Instructions:
**Firstly make sure you have the latest RomRacer's recovery!!**
Then choose to wipe using any one of the following two wiping methods:
    For clean wipe:
Moto-fastboot -w, erase system/boot/preinstall, then install from INTERNAL .ZIP!

    For easy wipe:
Go into recovery, and install from INTERNAL .ZIP!
Wiping data may not be necessary with every update, but it's best to flash clean. However, if you regularly flash the updates, you'll most likely need to wipe data at some stage anyway.
**DO NOT WIPE DATA AFTER INSTALLING!!!**
Make sure you flash the 'Lite gapps' in to get the barebone google apps.

Then, after booting, click on script manager, navigate to /system/etc and run NitroCharger.sh as ROOT and at BOOT!
It is also HIGHLY recommended to download the GPS Mod found in #2.
    Then you're done.

Q: Are you going to be working on CM9?
Yep, I'm working on it right now :)

Q: My phone doesn't boot with this ROM - it get's stuck on the dual-core screen :(
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ROMRACER'S RECOVERY!!!! CHANGE IT NOW!

Q: Why is performance settings in CMparts removed?
A lot of options in performance settings will conflict with the tweaks in this ROM. All the options in performance settings have been included in the ROM anyway, but have been optimised for the best settings. So don't worry about it. If you REALLY want to head over to performance settings, then long press on homescreen and select shortcut. Add CMparts>Performance Settings and you will gain access. But seriously, there's really no point.

Q: My phone shows that I have very low free RAM!
Here's a fat explanation on how the RAM works in Android.

Q: My phone can't scan files on my SDcard?
CM7 mounts the SDcard and internal memory opposite to Motorola. To switch back to 'stock style,' navigate to /settings/CMsettings/application > Check 'use internal storage' and reboot.

Q: Does this ROM support landscape mirroring?
    Yep.

Q: How do you get those cool 'ICS style' rings like in the screenshots?
Go to Settings/CMsettings/Lockscreen/Style options/Ring-Lock style and change to 'holo.'

Q: What does the BOOST script do?
It will 'defrag' databases, so make them smaller (faster to read, so apps will open faster) as well as freeing the caches. Do NOT run this script at boot!!!!! It is to be used if your phone starts to feel a big sluggish or laggy, then just run the script with SU and that's it.
