su -c "/system/bin/sh /sdcard/leds.sh off"
Anyone needing to turn off the soft-key backlights as I do for some late night reading in bed can run the script attached to toggle on and off until the tweaks have them
1. Download Terminal Emulator
2. unzip the file and add the leds.sh script to SD card
3. Run the command:
to turn off, and replace the "off" with "on" to toggle back on.Code:su -c "/system/bin/sh /sdcard/leds.sh off"
Remember to replace "/sdcard/" with "/sdcard2/" if you're like me and have tweaks, ROMS, and scripts in that location so as not to get wiped.
edit: I take no credit for the original script, just can't remember where in the internet I found it originally
When I try to download this, I get a file with the right name but it's really just a text file that says "404 Page Not Found The page you requested was not found."
Can anyone tell me if the volume on this is better than on evita? I am currently on xxxrom and the volume is great (earpiece and speaker phone). I tried out evita and the volume was intolerably low. And yes, there were other people with the same problem, so I know it wasnt on my end. I flashed back to xxxrom and volume is back to normal. I have been a fan of rezrom for quite a while now, but am leery of the low incall volume. Thanks in advance!
my volume has been fine but its depends on what you define as normal...
I mean the difference between xxxrom and evita. There is a huge difference between the two and I wasnt sure if your rom may have corrected the issue even though it is based of of the evita release.
Hell with it, thats what nandroid is for right!!!! I will just have to flash it and see...hehe
Thanks bored!!
My call volume was really low too, other than that, everything else was cool
yeah i noticed mine was a little lower than normal but the thing i did like is it didnt blast my earpiece to the point of crackle... but yes it needs some attention....one idea is if you flashed the beta i posted a few pages back you can go into leedroid tweaks and set the volume steps
honestly i couldnt hear people on BAMF. someone called while i was driving and i had to call them back when i got home

1.2.Install a custom recovery. It is reported that CWM is having periodic issues with certain code formats in the update-script. With that being said, I highly recommend using Amon RA Style Recovery with this ROM.3.
- Download RezROM from the link below. If you are S-ON, download RezROM_S4_S-ON_Kernel_Installer.zip as well.
- CHECK THE MD5 AFTER PLACING ON YOUR SDCARD. Windows user can download md5 checksum shell extension.
- Reboot your device into recovery mode.
- I recommend a wipe for this installation. A lot has changed.
- Install the ROM in recovery. S-OFF users simply reboot. S-ON USERS DO NOT REBOOT. Now flash S4 Kernel Installer zip which will reboot your to bootloader to finish the process.
- Enjoy and consider buying me a cup of coffee

1. Download the 3.11.605.22 Leaked RUU: LINK MD5 = 58b0f42defc689650ddd5128f195dc7d
2. Rename the RUU to "PH98IMG.zip"
3. Copy the renamed RUU to the root of your external SD Card.
4. Re-lock the bootloader.
- Open a DOS prompt and change directory to the folder where you have fastboot.exe
- Reboot to bootloader
5. Reboot to bootloader again via recovery menu.
- Type "fastboot oem lock" (No Quotes) while you are in bootloader (fastboot usb).
- The bootloader will begin to scan the PH98IMG.zip - This will take awhile
- When it asks if you want to update press volume up for yes.
- The update will make the first pass - This will take awhile as well
- The phone will reboot and sit on the white HTC screen - DO NOT freak out once again "this will take awhile"
- When it is done it will reboot back to fastboot mode.
- Make sure "Bootloader" is highlighted and then press the power button to run the second pass of the install - once again "this will take awhile " - watch the screen to verify ok next to each partition
- Once complete press the power button to reboot.
6. Once booted skip everything in setup
- Your device will now begin booting on the newly installed Leaked RUU
7. Proceed to http://htcdev.com/ to unlock the bootloader - Unlock keys do expire so you may need to request a new key.
8. Install the custom recovery of your choice.
9. Flash RezROM as instructed above.
