Unfortunately these things need traced back to the point of entry, so even though we know it's there, it isn't just a magic button press to remove it unfortunately...

Hi pulser_g,

I am redirected permanently to spacko-tv.net. Is anybody working ob this issue?

This happens to me too fairly regularly and it has been going on for quite long. Very embarressing when it happens around people. I think it's annoying that the managers of this site hasn't taken care of the problem after such a long time. Makes you wonder if it isn't intentional. The web ad business is an ugly one.

I'm from Australia on Telstra provider and got redirected to a porn ad which I am really not happy about. I clicked on a bookmark to get to a forum within xda. This only has happened only android phone. Not sure what the URL was since I got out of it quickly. Seems to be only the first time thus validating the argument that clearing cookies brings the ad back again.

Please report these in the stickied thread.

He (admin)isn't happy about these and posted about it. But we monitor the intrusive ad thread specially, and yell at the advert people when they mess up

Hello Pulser, other forums here in Germany are being hit with the same issue - have you managed to determine which advertiser is at fault, or any technical details as to how the redirect is inserted?

We really need to start fighting this problem at its core, and not just on the surface.
