Of course don't run wipe commands after the flash of the rom!

No wipes are needed.

With this update the only change is the mount of /cust partition in r/w.
This means the possibility to delete/add apk files.
Regards!

How to make?
apply update from sdcard
or
install zip fromsdcard ?

All packages, before being uploaded, are tested!
So, no worries!

Kalo, something I do not understand: why is it not enough to edit the prop/cmdline file with an editor and change the localproppath line?...

Mine, btw, says vodafone/it

Thanks,

Paolo.

Thanks,

Paolo.

Time ago, with my experiments, I tried to manually edit the cmdline. No way.
I also edited the cmdline of the kernel. Again: no way.
The last solution is to flash the UPDATE.APP package.
But if you want, you can try your ideas.
It would be nice to find a new way to edit the cmdline.
