The rotation bug in stock browser seem to have disappeared but it is extremely laggy for me atm. Third party browsers should work fine

Build 41 had the force close in the browser. So which browser are you using?

Stock browser. It doesn't force close. May get slight flickering, but that's expected.

Tell us reason why you want to make it 48?? Tell me what will it give you advantage in reducing?

But I suggest dont play with performance settings if you have to ask this questions. They are optimal by defaults, and should suffice normal users.

Does anyone mind posting the link to the merges and commits to the cm9 branch?

I've been here for a while now and I still can't remember... Shame on me.

It is a valid question. A few builds ago I noticed that it was set for 128 meg. I asked the question and I also bumped it down to 64.

I understand what the VM Heap is for and also ICS comes with it set to 128 by default. On devices with 1 GB of Ram a setting of 128 makes sense but with only 400 usable on the G2x 64 makes more sense to me.

I would like to hear your spin on what is best for the G2x.

Well, I had it at 64 for most of today and my phone just seems slightly faster. I was just checking if going down to 48 would improve speed more or it would just cause issues. Thanks for all your responses.

I noticed in the o2x thread owain seemed to be saying that swap was set too high. I didn't know Android used swap, and if it did i would have guessed it to be storage rather than ram, but that seemed to be the gist of the convo over there.. I wonder if anyone knows more about this?

I have nothing but anecdotal evidence, but I saw no appreciable difference between 48 and 64. Ran them both for a week. Got a couple random reboots with 48, but nothing crazy.
