I have a few apps that display the message "App has stopped working" with the options "Wait" or "force close" but if i choose nothing and wait, the app is still running in the background; I can see a webpage loading for example when the browser has stopped working for example and once its loaded if i select "wait" I can resume using the app normally. This also happens a lot in Whatsapp as a different example, I have stock a2sd with apps and dalvik on ext4 on a class 10 SD Card, i don't know if that matters. It happens on both Stock and Tiamat Kernels and all the rest is default installations.

Is it the same behavior you're describing with Youtube?

I did start with your suggestions (replacing libomx and libstagefright files) and they seemed to work. But the logcat was filling constantly during play.

I've noticed some error about libmediaplayerservice so I tried replacing /system/lib/libmediaplayerservice.so with the same file from 0.5.4 and voila: youtube is working, logcat isn't filling up.

My update zip is included in attachment, hope it solves youtube problems for everyone else.

i am getting below error message in the log while playing youtube, no video only sound. i have the same .so file. Any idea how to fix it. my hboot is CM7R2

After flashing a patch, youtube stops after trying to reproduce any video. Anyone else?
