I know some people that lost root, also do have CWM and backups, but their phone is stuck in recovery mode, and always boots into recovery mode, even restoring a backup.

I've tried making Odin images to help, but Odin doesn't seem to want to work on these phones.

Yes I do but I tried flashing this which is the FC17 update for the conquer 4g but it messed up my phone. I have tried practically everything with no luck. Maybe making a EG15 rom will bring us back to 2.3.4?

Ok, I have the FC17 update AND root. I am making the files to help people out. There is a version of Odin that works, so just give me a little bit to make the package. It will require you obtain the official Sprint FC17 Odin image to use what I'm making, as I'm not sure about the legality of including that too.

I could possibly transfer that file to people on IM or something, there is also another site that has a link to it right now, but not sure if it's ok to post a link to that site.

It even says the stock FC17 image is invalid when you load it, and you should already know this when you updated the phone to a stock image.

It works just fine though, but if you have a phone updated to FC17 by the OTA update, as it says in the instructions, you MUST do step 1 and install the STOCK FC17 image, the UPDATED FC17 will NOT work with this.
