That's the issue. The kernel can't set the MEM/ADJ values in Dalvik LMK. This was changed in JW4 and up. Also can't change in it ICS ROMs/kernels unless Supercharger's way of hacking the jar files is used.

RAM and lowmemorykiller configs are stock. The new kernel sources give more free ram by default.

Have you tried the stock XXJW4 kernel? Does it also have this problem?

EDIT: It does work on stock XXJW4 kernel. Strange thing is the reserved memory configurations are the same as K17-1 and the new source code. Looks like it'll take me a while to figure this one out.

EDIT: Ah-ha! Found the problem. Expect a new version soon.
