It seems that Sweden generic 1257-6919 is also Finland generic! According to a Finnish mobile forum that SI is also in units sold in Finland (I bought my unit from elsewhere with CE firmware). I just called to a friend of mine who also owns Xperia S and his unit has also 1257-6919_R7E. On the box of Xperia S is printed "SI 1257-6087.3" but the firmware version seems to differ from that!

I have one from Sony Headquarters USA that is also the same 1257-6919 and in the box it says SI 1261-6390.3 EN

I think what is printed on the box isn't a matter, but what is inside the phone is matters

.

It was the same case with X10, Arc and S at the moment.

and in your list is Sweden (Branding?) 1252-0023

this means that mine is from sweden ??? :\ and has the yellow spot :eek: ?

Hi All - can't see this in the first post as yet so thought I'd share, I'm in the UK on Orange Pay Monthly and mine shows as:

1257-7799_R8E

Looking forward to any ongoing dev work here already - missing my rooted CM7'd Desire HD at the mo!

Edit: And then I read a few posts up and find in_deed has beat me to it! Unsure if this is of any use, but this is as the phone arrived with me, on Gingerbread 2.3.7.
