No, its an OpenFIMG problem because instagram is working on CM7-A7 and froyo which dont have tom3q's OpenFIMG port.
If A8 would have the samsung drivers then instagram would also work on it.
(Correct me if i am wrong)

Draw something worked on Alpha 7 with OpenFIMG. But now I am just getting black screen.

It's working fine for me on stock froyo xxjpi without fc's or anything so far . Only thing is that the preview of my picture is not updated live if I select a filter, but I'm not sure if this is a feature at all? If you process the image everything gets applied nicely. Overall I find the app somewhat slow.
