Unhappy Phone not working!!

Hi there,

I changed some setting in the build.prop file and now my phone won't boot or restore and just keep getting this message:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (s)
0A.6C
To return to normal mode - First press power ket to power down

Device is LOCKED. Status code: 0

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

Invalid CG OTV (CG: system): Invalid SP Data
Invalid CG HAB (CG: system, status: 0x004E)
Invalid CG OTV (CG: system)

My phone is the following:

Phone: Motorola Razr XT910 UK GSM
Network: Giffgaff (O2 Network)
Android version: Gingerbread 2.3.6
System Version: 651.167.26XT910.Retail.en.EU
Build Number: 6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2-3
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-g24431a2

I hope you can help, My phone hasn't been working for 4 days now and i don't have a spare phone and i am waiting for a important call, Hope you are are able to help.

Will i loose any programs and text messages?? HELP PLEASE!!

You'll need to flash a new rom with RSD Lite.

Hey,

I don't know if this would work, but can i not just flash a new copy on the build.prop file as that is the file that i edited, that is the file that has caused my phone to play up as i don't want loose anything off my phone as i have some important stuff on there that i didn't back up before i edited build.prop file...

Yep.

If you are familiar with adb:

adb remount

adb push c:\path\build.prop /system/

or you may just put build.prop file inside adb folder then

adb push build.prop /system/
