well, if you are writing in .NET, you could dump the misc partition from the phone and edit just the bytes you need to on the actual image itself in your code using a FileStream so the user doesn't have to do any hex editing.

That parts done by the BTOOL that theq developed, on phone. Im trying to figure out how im going to do instructions for it, and what looks the cleanest to HTC. The only reason i can see relock is because of warranty, so this hast to be clean (and i need to clean out data/local/ or else they will find me. Experimentation with it. Still getting a basic consept while bob helps on the GUI.. Too many if thens

bltool <miscfile> unlock // unlocks bl
bltool <miscfile> relock // relocks bl but the htcdev way with RELOCKED
bltool <miscfile> lock // locks bl the clean way

you can do just the same steps as for unlocking, just change "unlock" to "lock" in the bltool command

I'm in desperate need of a .NET/Visual Basic coder. Last time I used Visual Basic was VB6, and I'm afraid my VB knowledge has gone out the window.

If anyone with ANY Visual Basic knowledge can give me a hand, PM me please. I don't want you to do it, just help me out a bit.

Thanks.

That's actually the process but I'm making it clean, and finding best practices and timing for it. Too soon and not everything is mounted after a reboot.. Know what I mean? I'm also going to change up menus and add support for everything bltool does
