Checked that i typed correctly as well as setting the permissions just cant seem to make it work.
Still cant work
I set permissions to the alphabets. How do i use value?
I do not quite understand what you mean. The number you write there, 600 as given in the example, is the time in milliseconds during which the soft keys will stay on. What you have to do is create a file in init.d folder, type the code given before in it, save it, set file permission and that's actually it. Then reboot and it should work. You could also try SManager app - it can check whether your code contains any errors. Also, remember not to have any 'spaces' after a line ends - else the code won't work.
I have a problem that make me annoyed. This is a screenshot for my problem: http://db.tt/rurupscA
I discharged my phones but the battery indicator still announce CHARGING. That really makes me confused because i can't mount USB mass storage when turning on and in CWM. I have just come back to stock 3 times (when coming back to stock, I saw a line that give the error system/csc/FTM... but it still brings me to stock), disabled charge animation, even all animation, pull out battery and re-inject but my phone still give me announcement:"CHARGING"... The phone only stop problem when the battery percentage is under 15%. It makes me more confused when I can't turn off my phone completely. It always show the circle: Charging > Turn Off > Charging... And when I turn off my phone, it's so diffcult to turn on because of that circle. I need to enter CWM and choose reboot in CWM to boot into the rom. I have used SGS2 for 1 month and the problem just happens 3 days ago. I really don't know what can cause it. Really appreciated for every advice to help me get out of this problem. Thanks for reading.
Check your USB socket on the bottom of your phone. It sounds like there is something in there shorting out the connection. The phone will think it is charging if there is a circuit in the pins in that plug. So check there first (remove all dirt and dust etc) If that is clean, then you may have to look at taking it back to the shop, as this sounds a lot like a hardware problem. If it is a software problem, a full format of the system should clear it up.
