Probably has something to do

a) either with CSC
b) or with your screen resolution.

Everytime i try to connect my phone to the computer and copy some files to my phone, the copting freezes and i have to unplug the phone. Tried it like ten times now.

Any tips? Rooted and installed Stunner today, havent done anything with the modem.

Try a total clean install of stunner. Go GB - repack lp1 - stunner

Oh, they do restore for me alright, only never with root privileges.
Which is the same as do not restore at all for me.

Do me a favor, check your SMSC, dial pad *#*#4636#*#*, Phone information, scroll down to SMSC and hit "refresh", and tell me what it says.

Also when trying to send does your signal drop to zero bars?

The crash has been fixed for a long time.
There was only a problem with the buttons.
This is now fixed and the buttons on the right place @ 160dpi.
