Why?AOKP is bad?cause now I am on 1.1,planning upgrade to 1.4 today.

AOKP is not bad

but the current stock camera app lacks the ability of change where you store your pictures (sd_card or external_sd) and defaults to the internal memory of the phone (sd_card) which is annoying.

Maybe you should wait for 1.5 if you are too concerned about battery life, with a 2000Mah extended bat I was squeezing about 2 days and a few hours of use with 1.1 and right now I'm just getting 1 day and 2 or 3 hours.

one more problem, on your rom and others, I can connect only once to my router d600 (dlink) and after sometime disconnect and it will be always stuck on obtaining ip... didnt have this problem with 2.3.6, just with ICS... any solutions?
