Is there a way to prevent mplwp from lagging out? Seems like when I'll hit home the wallpaper has to load every time and its annoying

I'm not so sure about what to do. I could be wrong, but I think it has something to do with memory management. Your ROM, running apps, compcache, etc. all could be factors. It is a LWP afterall, so they do get a little hungry on the RAM. It's a minor annoyance, but the ability to fill the screen properly makes it worth it for me.

On another note, I decided to try something new with my homescreen

This widgets on your homescreen (tasks manager, weather and clock) it is a program or it's included in new ICS? What kind of ROM have you install?
